English Language Requirements
Students enrolling in programmes at the New Zealand School of Food and Wine (NZSFW) must meet the English language proficiency requirements for their chosen qualification.
IELTS is our preferred method of assessing English language proficiency. However, other recognised English language assessments may also be accepted.
IELTS certificate validity
In accordance with New Zealand immigration requirements, your IELTS certificate must be dated within two years of your New Zealand visa application. All submitted English language certificates are subject to authenticity verification as part of the enrolment process. Please refer here for further information.
