Essential Skills

Over two weekday evenings, make a three-course menu specially designed to teach you a range of foundation skills to give you more confidence in the kitchen. These are the skills you've always wanted to have, taught in a fun and supportive environment.

The first class will focus on knife skills; including correct knife care, using different techniques to cut vegetables to create a choice of entree dishes.

In the second class you will create a main and dessert, with techniques which can be applied to many different dishes and cuisines.

The recipes are fast, classic and interesting and can be cooked at home for dinner or for that special dinner party.

Recipes include:

  • Vegetable soup with pesto
  • Potato salad with classic mayonnaise
  • Salt cured lamb

You will receive a workbook with recipes and explanations of techniques and cooking tips.
