New Zealand School of Food and Wine in conjunction with Hay’s offers a diverse array of events that can be tailored to your specific occasion. Cooking demonstrations and interactive dinners where you get to be involved in the process are great fun and suit corporate events and product launches as well as team building programmes and social get-togethers.
The events available include:
1. The Palate Game: Food and Wine Social Evenings
Learn about your palate and how we taste, during wine or beer tasting sessions, matched with food from Hay’s.
To add more excitement, a team competition can pit group taste against group taste. The event can then be followed by dinner at Hay’s.
2. Corporate Challenge: Kitchen Confidential (minimum 12)
Sessions: Lunch 9.30 am – 1.30 pm or Dinner from 4 pm – 8pm
Teams create a three course lunch or dinner with our professional chefs who mentor them through this process. Ideal for team building and corporate hospitality. View our latest corporate challenge.
3. Special Dinner Parties at Hay’s
A special menu can be created to suit your budget and taste (minimum of 12 people). View our special dinners.
4. Customised Cookery Demonstrations and Tastings (maximum of 24 people)
5. The Wonder of Wine - Wine Tasting

Session Time: 1 hour
Our sommelier will facilitate a wine tasting, featuring wines from around the world, for your group. This event works nicely when followed by dinner at Hay’s where wines tasted will be offered with each course. |
