New Zealand School of Food and Wine in conjunction with Hay’s offers a diverse array of events that can be tailored to your specific occasion. Cooking demonstrations and interactive dinners where you get to be involved in the process are great fun and suit corporate events and product launches as well as team building programmes and social get-togethers.

1. Corporate Challenge: Kitchen Confidential

(minimum 8 people - maximum of 24 people)
Sessions: Lunch on Thursdays 9.30 am – 1.30 pm or Dinner from 4 pm – late Teams create a three course lunch or dinner with matching wines, with our professional chefs who mentor them through this process. Ideal for conference activity, team building or corporate hospitality.

2. Chef for the Day - Cook your own Christmas Celebration
Get a group of 8-10 people together and come cook a Christmas dinner for your colleagues, family or friends. Arrive at New Zealand School of Food & Wine at 4pm to prepare a 4 course gourmet meal.
Our professional chefs will guide you in cooking techniques and presentation.
At 6.30pm your friends and colleagues arrive to enjoy the feast in the restaurant.

3. Wine Taste and Quiz night
Get together a group of your friends or colleagues to learn more about how to taste wines followed by our wine quiz designed to test your knowledge and ensure lots of laughs.

This quiz features 10 wines from around the world – test yourself on your international wine knowledge – includes some rare and curious wines!
New Zealand Wine Quiz
So you think you know a lot about Kiwi wines, here is your chance to test your skills on New Zealand wine regions, grape varieties and styles of wine.

Groups of four people will compete for a group prize selected by you.
Available Monday - Saturday 7-10pm

Minimum cost $695 for 20 people or $35 per person
Maximum of 60 people - All prices are GST exclusive.
