Hay's is located in the heart of Christchurch, New Zealand, directly opposite the Christchurch Casino. The renowned restaurant is owned by Celia Hay.
Hay's offers modern New Zealand cuisine with a hint of Asia and a dash of the Mediterranean, blended with our fresh, green local produce.The lamb on our menu has been raised at the Hay Family historic Pigeon Bay property where as well as Harts Creek Farm, Leeston.
Over the last 16 years, Hay's has been awarded many accolades. These include the Corban's Best Café Menu and Wine; the NZ Beef and Lamb Bureau's Hallmark of Excellence and since 2005, Hay's has been awarded the Wine Spectator Magazine Award of Excellence. In 2007 Hay's won
the Waipara Valley Wine Challenge.
Hay's offers delicious innovative food in an informal environment.
