New Zealand School of Food and Wine in conjunction with Hay’s offers a diverse array of events that can be tailored to your specific occasion. Cooking demonstrations and interactive dinners where you get to be involved in the process are great fun and suit corporate events and product launches as well as team building programmes and social get-togethers.

The events available include:

1. Cook your own Mid Winter Christmas Dinner
Get a group of 8-10 people together and come cook a mid winter Christmas dinner for your family or friends.
Arrive at New Zealand School of Food & Wine at 4pm to prepare a 4 course gourmet meal.
Our professional chefs will guide you in cooking techniques and presentation.
At 6.30pm your friends and colleagues arrive at Hay’s to enjoy the feast in the restaurant.

• Christmas mince pies with ham and stilton
• Cream of mushroom soup with our own freshly baked sour dough bread
• Filo Christmas cracker stuffed with turkey & cranberry
Dauphinoise potatoes, roast shallots, blanched spinach and green pea puree

2. Wine Taste and Quiz night
Get together a group of your friends or colleagues to learn more about how to taste wines followed by our wine quiz designed to test your knowledge and ensure lots of laughs.
