Essence of Canterbury tasting plate

Lunch over Summer only.

Savour a plate of local Canterbury flavours featuring succulent Pigeon Bay lamb matched with a trio of Canterbury wines.

The tasting plate includes:

  • Braised lamb and quince finished with mint and Waipara olives
  • Char-grilled lamb served medium rare, tossed salad leaves with 8 Moon saffron vinaigrette and toasted Duvauchelle walnuts
  • Canterbury duck liver parfait
  • Amberley extra virgin olive oil
  • Fruit chutney (feijoa or rhubarb)
  • Hay’s freshly baked sour dough bread

Tasting Canterbury Wines:
A trio of wines from well-regarded wineries such as Pegasus Bay, Muddy Water and Kaituna Valley to name just a few.
